La compagnia indipendente Loud and Louder ha da tempo in cantiere la pubblicazione di un documentario davvero enciclopedico sulla storia della chitarra elettrica dal titolo “Turn it up!”. Il documentario condotto da Kevin Bacon vede la presenza e testimonianza di chitarristi d’ogni sorta, professionisti e non. Tra i professionisti figurano Carl Verheyen, B.B. King, Slash, Les Paul, Robby Krieger, Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, Steve Lukather, Skunk Baxter, Jerry Cantrell, Albert Lee, Carl Verheyen, Rick Vito e moltissimi altri.

Diretto da Robert Radler il documentario è ora nelle sue fasi finali di produzione, ma essendo la Loud and Louder una casa indipendente, necessita di fondi per poter essere terminato. Per questo motivo la casa di produzione ha indetto una raccolta fondi di 60 giorni che porterà auspicabilmente a raggiungere il budget necessario per poter finalmente pubblicare questa grande opera chitarristica.
